Chiswick Voices at Eton College
January 21, 2025
Chiswick Voices, the choir of Chiswick School, received praise after a recent performance at Eton College.
The pupils had been invited to sing at evensong in the fifteenth century chapel founded by Henry VI.
Their contribution to the service was praised for its technical mastery and emotional depth by those in attendance.
Under the leadership of Mr Zac Moxon, Head of Music at Chiswick School, the profile of the school’s music department has been elevated. This is not the first time Chiswick Voices has captivated distinguished audiences; the choir has previously delivered performances at both Cambridge and Oxford University.
Ms Laura Ellener, Headteacher of Chiswick School, expressed her pride in the students’ achievements, “I am incredibly proud of our talented students and their commitment to excellence. Performing at such a prestigious venue as Eton College is a remarkable accomplishment, and it reflects the dedication and hard work of everyone involved in Chiswick Voices. They continue to inspire and bring great pride to our school community.”
Chiswick School invites the wider community to join the Chiswick Community Choir. This initiative invites local residents to sing alongside the members of Chiswick Voices and experience the joy of choral music. All abilities are welcome - even if you haven’t sung before.

A performance of Mahler’s Symphony No. 2 is taking place on 22 March at the school. Tickets can be secured by contacting the school via email at enquiries@chiswickschool.org.
A video of the choir’s previous performance of Beethoven’s 9th Symphony is available on YouTube.
Chiswick School says it takes immense pride in fostering a culture of musical excellence and looks forward to welcoming the community to engage with its vibrant music programme.
