Jason McKay extradited from Poland on European Arrest Warrant
A man has been charged with the murder of Michelle Creed in Barons Court after being extradited from Poland.
Jason McKay, 36 appeared at West London Magistrates Court on March 14 charged with the murder of the 34 year-old victim, who was found dead on February 5 at an address in Comeragh Road, W14.
Police said they had been called following concerns for the welfare of a resident and they found the body after forcing entry into the property.
Last week police said they were working with Polish authorities to extradite a man arrested in Warsaw in connection with the offence. On February 9, four days after the discovery of Michelle Creed's body, the 36 year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder in Warsaw after attending a police station.
Subsequently, a European Arrest Warrant was obtained, and McKay was brought back to the UK.
McKay has been remanded in custody and will appear at Isleworth Crown Court on March 16.
