A house fire broke out on Ashbourne Grove, just off Chiswick Lane in Chiswick, on the morning of 29 October.

Four fire engines and approximately 25 firefighters were dispatched to the scene, bringing the blaze under control within an hour and a half with no injuries reported.

London Fire Brigade's Control officers received six emergency calls regarding the incident, with the initial call logged at 10:53 AM. Crews from Richmond, Ealing, Kensington, and surrounding fire stations mobilized to the mid-terrace house. Upon arrival, firefighters used a 32-metre turntable ladder to gain height and tackle the flames effectively.

The fire caused damage to the front fascia and the roof space of the two-storey property, while a bin store located in the front garden was completely destroyed.

During operations, crews identified two gas cylinders involved in the blaze. Firefighters removed and cooled the cylinders to ambient temperature as a safety precaution, neutralizing the risk of explosion caused by heat exposure.

By 12:12 PM, the Brigade had fully brought the fire under control.

The cause of the outbreak remains under investigation.
