Say "we are top of the league!"
Brentford rescued a late point at Accrington last night with a goal from loanee striker Jordan Rhodes
After a fairly torrid run in the North West this season, Brentford looked to be cruising to a sixth defeat in the area, until Jordan Rhodes stole a point in the fourth minute of stoppage time, latching on to a John Halls through ball.
The result moved Brentford to the summit of League Two on goal difference, although some of the teams around them have games in hand. As Andy Scott commented after the game - "We are top of the league and are there to be shot at".
It was a tight game last night but Brentford probably deserved at least a point with Stanley keeper Kenny Arthur the busier of the two stoppers.
