Police thank public after media appeal

A man from Ealing has been arrested after a dog reportedly bit a commuter on a Piccadilly line train.

British Transport Police (BTP) spokeswoman said: “Following a public appeal for information, a 30-year-old man from Ealing has been arrested on suspicion of possessing a dog dangerously out of control in a public place.

“BTP appealed to the public for information following an incident on 20 May, onboard a Piccadilly line train travelling between Ealing Common London Underground (LU) station and Park Royal.

“We would like to thank members of the public for coming forward with information, as well as the media for assisting with our appeal.

“The man, who was arrested on Monday, 3 June, has since been released on police bail until Thursday, 11 July."
