Police launch chat room on first anniversary of London bombings

Hounslow Police and Youth Services have today launched a new internet forum to discuss concerns about the police response to terrorism.

Superintendent of Hounslow Borough Simon Phipps said

"Although we have good relations generally in the Borough, I know that there are some people who feel particularly worried about the counter-terror raids in other parts on London. In using this forum I hope to get ideas about what we can do to make people feel safer.

"I want to know what you are really thinking about the terrorist situation, and particularly how young people feel. I want to ask just three questions to as many Hounslow residents as possible - what bit about terrorism worries you, what you think we should do about this in Hounslow and what would you do now if you were in charge of police.

"You can leave your views on the Young People’s forum at http://younghounslow.proboards51.com"
