Sir Norman Foster (Baron Foster of Thames Bank) is perhaps the best-known living British architect. His architectural style is typically described as high-tech and modernist.
On Thursday 8 June at POSK on King Street Architectural Historian Andrew Hopkins will be giving an illustrated lecture titled, ‘Norman Foster: Britain’s Archistar’.

The lecturer is an Author, Lecturer and University Associate Professor. He will talk about Foster’s extraordinary range of buildings, from the Reichstag Dome in Berlin to the Millennium Bridge in London and, of course, "the Gherkin” and what makes him Britain’s Archistar.
Before the June lecture Society will hold its AGM and would be most grateful if Members and Guests attending could arrive before 7.30pm so the lecture can begin promptly at 8pm.
