Latest Hammersmith Property Prices
Local property market strengthens after Spring Lull
The latest data on sales in the Hammersmith area seems to suggest that property prices have started to move back towards the levels seen earlier this year after dipping in April and May.
The average price of a home sold in the W6 area since the beginning of June is over £640,000. The period saw 13 properties change hands for over £1million with one home in Luxembourg Gardens being sold for £2.2million.
Since the beginning of July property sales in the area have averaged over a quarter of a million but as larger value transactions appear to be reported more quickly it is likely that the average will fall as more sales are added to the register.
The July data from Land Registry's national House Price Index shows an annual price increase of 6.7% which takes the average property value in England and Wales to £166,798. The monthly change from June to July is an increase of 0.4%.
The region with the highest annual price change is London with an increase of 12.1%

The numbers below are subject to revision as is it usual that some properties are added late to the Land Registry's database.
