A man has been taken to hospital after a car left the road and ploughed into a garden wall on The Avenue, at the corner of Wheelock Road, on Sunday evening (14 June).
The collision happened shortly after 8pm, when a red saloon car veered off the carriageway and struck the brick wall of a residential property, causing significant damage. At this stage, there is no indication that any other vehicle was involved.
Emergency services were quickly on the scene. A fire crew from Fulham Fire Station attended and made the area safe, while paramedics treated the injured driver before taking him to hospital. His condition has not yet been confirmed.

The car was removed just over an hour after the collision
The impact left the car badly damaged, and around an hour after the crash a recovery lorry arrived to remove the vehicle. Police officers remained at the scene into the evening as enquiries continued.

Residents reported hearing a loud bang, with debris scattered across the pavement and part of the wall collapsed. No one inside the property is believed to have been injured.
Police are expected to review CCTV from nearby homes and businesses as they work to establish the circumstances of the collision.
