The police are appealing for witnesses following a road traffic collision that took place on South Parade.
Yellow notices asking for information about an incident on Saturday 21 June at 2:23pm have been placed near the mini-roundabout at the junction with Fishers Lane and by the nearby junction with Esmond Road.
No further information has been provided about the details of the collision by the police but eye-witnesses report that a cyclist was hit by a car. They were trapped under the vehicle and passersby had to lift it up to free them.
The police were on the scene for at least three hours after the incident with South Parade closed and the area between the roundabout and Esmond Road was cordoned off.
Anyone who has information that could help with the investigation, including dashcam footage from around the time of the incident, is asked to call 020 8543 5157.
A cyclist was badly hurt at the roundabout near the junction with Fishers Lane in April and some local residents have called for the road layout at this location to be changed with the roundabout being removed.
