Taken to hospital after incident near tube station

A female pedestrian was taken to hospital after being involved in a road traffic collisio on Goldhawk Road this Thursday morning (1 December). The accident happened near Stamford Brook tube station.

There were eye witness reports on Twitter that the woman had been hit by a bus.

A spokesperson for London Ambulance said; "We were called at 6.03 a.m. to reports of a road traffic collision at Goldhawk Road. We sent an ambulance crew to the scene which arrived in less than five minutes.

"We treated a woman at the scene and took her as a priority to a major trauma centre in West London."

Goldhawk Road was closed from the time of the incident leading to some traffic delays in the Chiswick area.
