Last Chance to Donate to Chiswick Guide Dogs October Appeal
Charity visited local schools for World Sight Day

Fundraising efforts by Chiswick Guide Dogs during October are continuing with volunteers having been especially active on the charity’s behalf.
They have been stationed at a number of collection points across the area including Damien at the “Short and Tall” coffee stall by the Chiswick Station.
As well as the one at the station there are also collection boxes at Busby’s Pharmacy in Grove Park, Youngs Vets on South Parade and the Eye Studio on Chiswick High Road.
The busy month has also seen visits to local schools including for World Sight Day.
Local volunteer Tim Mack said, “A big thank you for the support and donations across Chiswick this month from local people, businesses and especially the schools from ‘non uniform’ days to baking events to walks. We are making one last request for donations this month from Chiswick at our collection points or through Just Giving please.”
During October the collecting Dog outside the Eye Studio on the High Roadwill feature a QR code for donations that also links to the Just Giving page.
Almost two million people in the UK are living with sight loss that has a very significant impact on their daily lives. Of those, 180,000 rarely leave their homes alone and lead lonely, isolated lives.
Guide Dogs works for a world where people with sight loss are never left out of life, for a world where being blind or partially sighted is not what defines you.
