Random attack on Albany Road


Man left needing stitches after motiveless assault

An apparently motiveless attack took place on Albany Road this Saturday 26th August on a 29 year old man at around 1am.

The victim, a white male, was walking along when suddenly struck on the head from behind with an unknown weapon, possibly a bottle. He was struck again across the ear causing him to bleed profusely. The victim can only remember seeing an unknown person running off down Albany Road towards Somerfields.

He was conveyed by ambulance to West Middlesex Hospital for treatment, which consisted of 10 stitches for a large swelling.
