Wimbledon Property Sales - August 2015
Pause for breath for local residential market
After reaching new heights earlier in the Summer, the local property market seems to have become calmer more recently.
There were 112 sales in the SW19 post code area reported to the Land Registry during the month of August at an average price of 689,813.
Although this is up on the levels seen at the start of the year it is a significant fall from the £800,000 plus levels seen in recent months.
Eighteen of the sales were for above the £1,000,000 mark with the top priced one being that of a house on Clockhouse Close which changed hands for £3,050,000.
The numbers below are subject to revision as is it usual that some properties are added late to the Land Registry's database.
