Pantos and family shows in W12 and beyond
The Bush Theatre is celebrating the season with The Polar Express Storytelling Show, running from 9 - 13 December, with shows starting at 11am, 2pm and 4.30pm.
Board Chris van Allsburg’s Polar Express and listen to the well-loved story of the little boy on Christmas Eve who takes a magical journey to the North Pole.
Storystock Circus of Stories brings an immersive Christmas storytelling show that will get everyone’s Christmas bells ringing.
Children are invited to come dressed in pyjamas ready for a festive adventure filled with Christmas songs and games conjuring up ‘wolves and white-tailed rabbits’, ‘candies with nougat centres as white as snow’, ‘hot cocoa as thick and rich as melted chocolate bars’ and a chance to meet Father Christmas himself

At Bush Hall, unique vocal group Urban Voices Collective are offering an inspiring Christmas fusion of Gospel, Soul, R’n’B and Pop at two shows on Saturday 14 December, at 3pm and 7.30pm.
Then on Friday 20 December at 7.30pm, Bush Hall is hosting its anual Christmas Knees up with the amazing ten piece brass band Old Dirty Brasstards.
Expect all the Christmas classics, drum and brass, plus some new renditions, mulled wine, mince pies and lots more. There will also be a DJ until 1pm, so no need to put down your dancing shoes when the brass stops.

Blood on the Tracks - Colin Murray’s podcast Blood on the Tracks broadcast live from the theatre for the very first time, on Monday 9 December - last few tickets remaining!
Joe Stillgoe's Christmas House Party - Joe returns to the Lyric Hammersmith for his fourth consecutive year with this year’s festive offering on 16 December - again last few tickets remain.

At Barons Court Theatre in Comeragh Road, Richard Leigh's much loved Magic Cavern returns for the festive season, with performances from 17 December through till 5 January. This interactive family show, with magic happening before your eyes, is suitable for everyone aged six and upwards.
Also at Barons Court, The Improvised Panto runs between 9 and 15 December, promised a raucous night of fun using the audience's suggestions to improvise a brand new musical pantomime every night.

In Fulham Under the Bridge, the club within Stamford Bridge Stadium is breaking out from its usual jazz and blues offerings to welcome Peter Pan, visiting for a limited run.
From the streets of Bloomsbury in London to the lagoons and forests of Neverland, and the decks of Captain Hook’s Jolly Roger … the adventures of Peter Pan is a colourful, fast-moving musical adventure.
Tickets are still available for shows on Friday 13 December at 11am and Sunday 15 December at 11am and 3.30pm.
