Fire Brigade Called to Burning Car on Bloemfontein Road

But the reason for the blaze remains a mystery

People travelling to work on Monday morning were startled to see this burnt out car sitting smouldering on the pavement close to the junction of Bloemfontein Road and the Westway.

London Fire Brigade say a fire engine arrived at the scene at 7.20pm last night to find the car blazing amidst the evening traffic. They were able to put out the fire by 8pm but could cast no light on how it came to be on fire in the first place.
