Join a Fun Sponsored Walk for Scrubs Pony Centre
First of a series of fund-raising events happening this year
The Wormwood Scrubs Pony Centre says it needs to raise £180,000 to cover its running costs for the year and is holding a series of fund-raising events throughout 2014.
Coming up this month is a fun sponsored walk on aid of Riding for the Disabled at Wormwood Scrubs Pony Centre, taking place on March 15, at 12.30pm.
The centre says it would like to hear from five different groups who would like to take par: dogs and their handlers, children, youths, footballers to kick a ball on the walk and adults.
The walks will take around an hour and will end with drinks, snacks and doggie treats and there will be trophies for the walker in each group who has raised most for the charity.
