Second annual event promises food, music and dance on Saturday
White City's second street festival takes place on Saturday, September 15, reclaiming the streets of Wormholt and White City with a festival of food, music, film and dance.
The one day festival, which runs from 1pm until 5pm on Sunday aims to spotlight talent and creativity from within the community, taking local people on a journey through the lesser used spaces in between buildings, and taking over streets to celebrate the food, music and talent that makes the area unique.
Among the performers who will be entertaining the crowds will be Albert and Friends Instant Circus, the Amici Dance Theatre Company, Hypnotick Dance, the Scariofunk Dance Collective.
The festival is also supported by BBC Outreach, Long Live Vintage, Outerglobe Music, Phoenix High School and Queens Park Rangers.
The fun begins at White City Community Centre in India Way at 1pm.
