Residents are invited to attend
NHS Hammersmith and Fulham’s annual general meeting will take place on Monday 14 September 2009 from 5pm until 7pm at the Bordeaux Suite of the Novotel London West, 1 Shortlands, W6 8DR.
The public meeting will offer a chance to hear about the progress your local NHS has made over the last year as well as its priorities and challenges for the future.
Sarah Whiting, NHS Hammersmith and Fulham managing director, said: “We’d love to see as many members of the public who are interested in the current and future health of the borough at this year’s AGM as possible.
“It’s a real chance to find out what your local NHS has been up to and how it plans to improve the health of the people living in Hammersmith and Fulham in the year to come.
“It’s also the perfect opportunity to ask any questions you may have relating to the healthcare you receive, so make sure you turn up and have your say.”
Those attending the meeting will also be able to hear an update on work being jointly carried out with the council and be able to pick up a copy of NHS Hammersmith and Fulham’s Annual Report and Public Health Report 2008/09.
The AGM will also highlight NHS Hammersmith and Fulham’s role as one of two London primary care trusts to be rolling out the poly-systems model, which aim to radically transform the availability and quality of healthcare delivered outside of hospitals.
