Blaze tackled by 14 firefighters on Monday afternoon
London Fire Brigade says that part of the five roomed flat was damaged in the fire and sadly, a man was pronounced dead at the scene by London Ambulance Service.
Around 14 firefighters and officers and two fire engines from Hammersmith were called to the fire in White City and spent just over an hour getting the blaze under control.
The Brigade says it was called at 1.27pm and the fire was under control at 2.31pm.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
