Three men got out of silver saloon car to launch attack
A man was assaulted by a group of three masked men on the Uxbridge Road in Shepherd's Bush on 30 June.
The victim, who is in his thirties, was walking along the road at around 1.05am when a car containing the three suspects pulled up. They got out of the car and chased him along the road, catching up with him at the junction of Godolphin Road, where they assaulted him.
After the violent assault, the suspects ran back to their car and drove off.
The suspects are described as black males with clothing covering part of their faces. The car was described as silver and a saloon style.
Detective Constable Amit Tailor of Hammersmith and Fulham CID leads the investigation. He said, "I am appealing to anyone who was in the area and saw this attack to come forward. In particular, I am keen if anyone saw the car leaving the scene - any information about this is vital.
"This was a violent attack which left the victim requiring hospital treatment - thankfully he has been released following treatment but this has had a significant impact on him."
