Taken from funeral of owner's six year-old son
Hammersmith and Fulham Police are appealing to the public to help find a treasured laptop which was stolen from a man while he was at the funeral of his six year-old son.
On Monday, November 2 the boy's 34 year-old father attended the Pentecostal City Church in Scrubs Lane, NW10 for his son's funeral service.
During the service, the laptop was being used to show photos of the boy's life.
After the funeral service finished, the mourners left the church to go Kensal Rise for the burial ceremony, but when they returned to the church they discovered the laptop had been stolen.
Heartless thief Franklyn Mathurin, 47 was arrested on November 28 and on December 14 pleaded guilty to burglary at Harrow Crown Court.
Mathurin has been remanded in custody and will be sentenced on 12 January 2016 at the same court.
However, the laptop has not yet been recovered and police are asking the public's help in tracking it down.
They say the computer taken was a HP laptop. serial number 8CG42003G6. Anyone with information on its whereabouts is asked to call Hammersmith and Fulham CID on 020 8246 2505 or to remain anonymous Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
