Woman attacked by youth in Sinclair Road
Detectives from Hammersmith and Fulham have released an e-fit of a suspect who is wanted in connection with a midnight attack on a woman in Shepherds Bush.
Police say on Friday August 20 at around 11.55pm the victim, a 35 year old female was approached by a male on a pedal cycle outside Pizza Express along Rockley Road, W12.
The suspect tried to engage the woman in conversation. The victim walked down Charecroft Way into Sinclair Gardens, but as she approached the junction with Sinclair Road the suspect appeared from behind on foot and stood in front of her.
He tried to grab her handbag, then dragged her across the ground. When she screamed for help, he ran off towards the Kwest hotel.
The victim was left with a hip injury and grazing.
The suspect is described as a mixed race male, approximately 16-18 years of age, five foot seven inches tall, of lean/athletic build with black hair, wearing a cream/beige baseball cap, neutral coloured sports top and loose fitting jeans (hip hop style).
