Police appeal for witnesses
A local teenager is in a stable condition after being stabbed in a fast food restaurant in Uxbridge Road.
Police were called to the Texas Chicken takeaway shop in W12 at around 4.20pm on 8 February 2009 after receiving reports of a disturbance.
When they arrived, they found a 15-year-old boy who had been stabbed in the torso.
The teenager, who was in a serious but stable condition, was taken to St. Mary's Hospital for treatment and has since been discharged. He is said to be making a good recovery at home.
Police say the boy may have been involved in an argument with three male teenagers before the stabbing happened.
The victim is described as Asian and the three suspects are each described as being white, dark-skinned black and mixed race in appearance.
Detective Constable Gareth Rees from Hammersmith and Fulham CID said:
"We are keen to speak to a youth aged approximately 14 in connection with this
incident. He is described as a dark-skinned, black male, 5ft 6ins in height and
of a medium build.
"We believe that he is a local youth from either the Shepherd's Bush or White
City area. I urge anyone with information to call our incident room on 020
246 2504/5. Or, if you wish to remain anonymous call Crimestoppers on 0800
