The Theatre's next production is Mudlarks by Vickie Donoghue, which has already won acclaim during a sell-out run at Theatre503 and HighTide Festival.

Mudlarks is Essex born Vickie's debut play and say the Bush, it exposes "with brutal honesty" the culture she grew up with and sees on a daily basis.

The play tells the story of three boys hiding from the police on the muddy banks of the River Thames, downstream from the bright lights of London. Over the course of the freezing night their fears, secrets and dreams emerge, collide and combust revealing the desperate frustration of lives barely led but already ravaged. 

Mudlarks runs from September 18 until October 20, and if you book tickets before September 4, the Bush Theatre say you can save £5 per person, which means regular tickets are £19 instead of £24 and preview and matinee tickets for just £13.
