Take your last steps around before next month's big move

The Bush Theatre is taking one last look at its old home before moving permanently to the Old Library in Uxbridge Road in October.

From September 15 till September 30 the theatre is presenting this is where we got to when you came in, by non zero one and Elinor Cook. The theatre says:

Allow your curiosity to lead you through the building that has been the home of the Bush for the last 39 years. Stolen kisses in the corner and furrowed brows on the fire escape - encounter the past and dance with the future - what will you take from this place, and what will you leave behind?

An interactive journey through the old Bush Theatre, giving you the chance to take your last steps around the building before the doors close after 4 decades of performances.

The show runs for an hour and begins each half hour from 6.30pm to 9.30pm every evening. Tickets cost £15(£7.50 concessions) for previews on September 15 and 16 then £20 (£10 concessions) for the rest of the run.

In October, the new season at the Old Library begins Sixty-Six Books, celebrating the 400th year anniversary of the King James Bible and featuring a remarkable range of playwrights, poets, songwriters and novelists, the show will fill every corner of the building with contemporary responses to some of the oldest stories ever told.

The show opens and ends with two exclusive twenty-four hour events on October 14 and 28 where you can experience all the sixty-six responses and explore the Bush Theatre's new home from the attic to the cellar. A selection of responses will also be performed at Westminster Abbey during a one-off, twelve-hour overnight vigil on Oct 21.
