Askew Business Network look back at this year's highlights

Since its formation in 2010 Askew Business Network (ABN) has become a popular and much respected networking group, benefitting a wide range of small and larger businesses in the area as well as the residents who use their services.

During the last year ABN’s activities have included:

A fun speed networking event to introduce local business to each other;
An informative talk by a representative from The Federation of Small Businesses;
An informal networking lunch at a local pub on the last Tuesday of each month;
Supported the May and Christmas community events in Askew Road, organised in conjunction with Hammersmith Community Gardens Association (HCGA);
Raised £165 for HCGA with cake stall at the May event;
Together with HCGA arranged two pub quizzes at the Orchard Tavern;
Held another popular summer party at the Glasshouses in Ravenscourt Park;
Issued a monthly on-line newsletter including local events;
Increased mailing list to nearly 500 recipients;
Published more entries in our business directory on the ABN web site;
Started a local business feature on our website;
Welcomed new committee members.
Thanks to everyone for their support throughout the year.

The network will contiinue with its programme of network events and monthly lunches in 2017 and of course we will keep you posted on their activities.
