Join the Askew Business Network at The Greyhound Pub
With light hearted talk from local author and TV presenter Jonathan Maitland
Local author and tv presenter Jonathan Maitland takes a light-hearted look at his attempts to get rich by buying and selling shares on the internet, from his own front room at this month's meeting of the Askew Business Network at the Greyhound pub in Becklow Road on Tuesday June 18.
Doors open at 6pm and Jonathan will speak between 6.45 and 7pm, followed by general networking.
Anyone working or running a business in the Askew Road area is invited, and new faces are always welcome. The meeting is free, just buy a drink at the bar and join in the chat.
This meeting will be followed by the Askew Business Network's monthly Grab a Bite lunch on Tuesday June 25 at the Duchess of Cambridge and as always, all local people are invited.
The network say their May meeting, celebrating the Edible Askew festival with an evening of delicious nibbles from the food outlets in and around the Askew Road was sensational, and offer grateful thanks to everyone who contributed: Anna's Pantry, Café Louche, Som Tam, Brackenbury’s, The Ginger Pig, Love Cakes, Laveli Bakery and Sainsbury’s.
