London, UK - Saturday 20 June 2026
The much-loved Pride Month 10K Walk & Celebration in support of the Motor Neurone Disease Association returns for its fourth year on Saturday 20 June 2026, bringing together the LGBTQ+ community, allies, supporters and local residents for a day of visibility, solidarity, celebration and fundraising in Hammersmith.
Starting from Civic Campus, participants will take part in a scenic 10km riverside walk along the Thames before gathering for a vibrant Pride celebration at The Black Lion featuring entertainment, food and community spirit.
Now firmly established as a highlight of the Pride calendar, the event raises vital funds and awareness for Motor Neurone Disease (MND), while also championing the importance of communities and charities standing together in support of one another.
WLQP’s CEO Aubrey Crawley said: “It’s hard to believe this event is now in its fourth year. During the planning of the inaugural Walk and Afterparty in 2023, I learned about my friend Zoe’s diagnosis with Motor Neurone Disease (MND), and saw firsthand how little funding and attention the disease receives. That’s why we chose to transform this event into a fundraiser for the cause.”
MND is a life-shortening neurological condition that affects the nerves controlling movement. It causes progressive muscle weakness, which can affect how a person walks, talks, eats, drinks and breathes. Symptoms vary from person to person and usually get worse over time, but support, treatment and equipment can help people live as well as possible.
The Motor Neurone Disease Association plays a vital role in supporting people living with MND, their families and carers through practical, emotional and financial support. The charity supports people with motor neurone disease (MND), campaigning for better care and fund ground-breaking research.
Participants will begin gathering from 10:00 at Civic Campus in Hammersmith, with the walk officially starting at 11:00 following a group warm-up. Starting at Civic Campus in Hammersmith, we will make our way down to the River Thames and then cross Hammersmith Bridge. We will follow the Thames Path along the south side of the river passing by the gorgeous Barnes and Mortlake before crossing over Chiswick Bridge back to the north side of the river. The home stretch will take us along the Thames Path through Dukes Meadows and Chiswick Mall ending at the Black Lion Pub. The route will be clearly marked, maps will be available and marshalls will be on duty along the entire walk.
Following the walk, attendees can enjoy an afternoon celebration running from 13:00 to 17:00, hosted by YsHee Black and featuring performances from Adam All, Tom Heath and Lola Lasagne.
Each ticket includes:
The event is expected to attract supporters from across London and beyond, uniting people through Pride, visibility and charitable action.
Aubrey Crawley added: “I hope you will join us this year as we celebrate Pride Month, come together as a community, enjoy the beautiful sights of West London, and experience fantastic live music, food and community spirit — all while supporting an incredibly important cause.”
