Festive fun for all the family this weekend
Westfield London is holding its own Diamond Celebration with a string of events and special offers, kicking off with a Street Party on the Southern Terrace on Saturday 2nd June.
The party will have live music and street performers and food and drink tastings from the restaurants along the Southern Terrace along with a traditional English tea party, tasty BBQs and delicious hog roasts.
From 11am-6pm on the Southern Terrace.
Westfield London is also joining the national celebrations for the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee by hosting a display of prints taken from the Victoria and Albert Museum’s (V&A) collection of Cecil Beaton’s royal portraits.
Located on the first floor of The Village – Westfield’s luxury shopping quarter – the public display runs until June 8 and showcases select portraits of the Queen in a variety of locations and backdrops, from official engagements to more informal affairs across a two decade period, providing remarkable insight into one of the world’s longest-serving monarchs.
There's fun for kids too. On Monday June 4, from 2pm - 3pm, West London’s little Kings & Queens are cordially invited to join the party at Foyles as they celebrate Her Majesty’s 60th year on the throne. Kids will get the chance to make their very own crowns, enjoy some cake, and help track down the Royal Jewels.
Westfield also has a host of other special offers, discounts and food events - you can find the full list of Jubilee happenings here.
