Hear Final Upper Room Winter Lecture of 2016 at St Saviour's


With Rt Hon Dominic Grieve QC discussing European Convention on Human Rights

The final Upper Room Winter Lecture of 2016 takes place on April 27 at St Saviour’s Church, Cobbold Road, from 8pm - 9pm.

The speaker will be the Rt Hon Dominic Grieve QC MP, who will discuss “Why the European Convention on Human Rights should matter to us”.

Dominic Grieve was the Attorney General from May 2010 to July 2014, Shadow Justice Secretary from January 2009 to May 2010, Shadow Home Secretary from June 2008 to January 2009, and Shadow Attorney General from 2003-2009. President of the Franco-British Society, and Vice-Chairman of the Franco-British Council. MP for Beaconsfield since 1997, called to the Bar in 1980 and appointed QC in 2008.
