Parents, teachers, and students to cycle for 25 miles

teachers from twyford school to go on fundraising cycle ride

Twyford Church of England High School parents, students and teachers are taking on a 25 mile Grand Union Canal bike ride to raise school music and arts funding.

The project is called #twyford25for5 and was set up to raise money for stage lighting and sound equipment for the school sports centre so it can also be used as a performance venue.

On Sunday 10 June, the group of 25 are leaving from Cassiobury Park in Watford and riding down the canal tow path to Brentford. Parents have been training from the beginning of the year, teachers have given up their precious weekend time and the majority of children have never undertaken such a physical challenge before!

Twyford PTFA would like to say a big thank you to all the local shops and businesses that have donated gifts and vouchers for the auction which will follow the bike ride.

Donations can be made online and cash donations can be handed in at the school office.
