Transgender Flasher Sought After Incident On Train

Detectives from British Transport Police’s Sexual Offences Unit have released CCTV images in connection to a case of indecent exposure on the London Overground.

The victim, a 19-year-old woman, was seated on the service when a transgender female sat opposite her. The suspect then exposed themselves to the victim before leaving the service at Highbury & Islington. She then boarded a separate train to Richmond. This train would have called at stations including Acton Central, South Acton and Gunnersbury.

The incident happened on a service travelling between Canonbury and Highbury & Islington at approximately 12.35pm on Sunday 4 June.

DC Andy Parkinson, said, “Incidents such as this are completely unacceptable and I would urge anyone with information to get in touch.

“I’d like to thank the victim in this case for contacting us and reporting this person’s behaviour. Every report helps us build a picture of the perpetrator which we hope leads to an arrest.”
