Hounslow Tories launch new website ahead of General Election

Modern campaign tool in place as party fights for victory

Hounslow Conservatives have launched a state-of-the-art web site, as a key part of their campaign to win back the seat in the forthcoming General Election.

The site features interactive polling, the latest news stories, biographies of local councillors, and a profile on Alexander Northcote the Conservative Prospective Parliamentary Candidate for Brentford & Isleworth. It has a feed of national news from the Conservative Party, as well as links to local news resources on the Internet.

The site can be accessed through the URL: www.hounslowconservatives.com and is updated regularly.

Alexander Northcote said: If there is one lesson political parties must learn. The only way to win elections is to genuinely engage with the local community. Since I started my campaign to win this seat as a Conservative, I have met with countless community groups and residents associations, and visited thousands of front doors.

But we must understand the importance of modern communication and the web is an incredibly powerful way for local communities to connect. I want our new web site to become the definitive destination for anyone wanting to know what your local Conservatives are doing for you.

The site has a simple contact feature so people can instantly communicate directly with Alexander Northcote. I want to hear from as many people as possible, so I can help improve things for the people of Brentford & Isleworth, he said.

A key feature of the site is the online poll that allows site visitors to vote on crucial issues. Northcote said: This is a way of getting instant feedback on some of the issues that matter to all of us. I will be changing the question regularly, so keep coming back so you can have your say.
