Hounslow police advise locals to have their say by 13 Augustt
Local police are encouraging esidents of Hounslow to respond to the Home Office consultation on police stop and search powers. The consultation runs until 13th August.
Chief Inspector Sally Benatar, Hounslow Police stop and search lead said; "Stop and search is a vital tactic for Hounslow Police to use to fight crime. It is important that we use this power effectively and fairly so that community confidence is increased.
"Through this public consultation, the public now have the opportunity to have their say about the future use of stop and search and I would encourage the people of Hounslow to make their views known. "
