A day of lectures, song and dance
The London Sevashram Sangha, based in Devonport Road W12, is celebrating its 10th anniversary with a day of lectures, song and dance.
The event takes place on Sunday 21st June from 1.30pm - 5pm at Hammersmith Town Hall.
Under the theme of "Pathways to Harmony and Peace", the day's programme includes lectures by representatives of the four Indogenic religions, a chief guest (Cllr Antony Lillis), devotional songs, drama and Bharatnatyam dance presented by the four great religions.
"Our world is increasingly under threat. Hence the relevance of working together for unity and peace. We invite all to this, our 10th year celebration, to create an understanding of what the Indogenic religions have got to offer under these trying times," the Sevashram say.
The event is being sponsored by the Unity Forum of the Indogenic Religions -Hindu, Buddhist, Jain and Sikh - and is being supported by community organisations, community leaders, MPs and councillors.
