Brand new bus station re-opens after early morning crash
Local bus services returned to normal this morning (Wednesday 18 February) after a bus crash caused the temporary closure of the White City bus station.
"At 5am on Tuesday 17 February a route 237 bus collided with the controller's office at White City bus station," a TfL spokesperson said.
"The bus was removed from the scene once an engineer had confirmed that the structure was safe. We will work with the bus operator, Metroline, to investigate this incident," TfL said.
Nobody was injured in the early morning incident and on Tuesday evening, contractors could be seen working to repair the boarded-up building.
"The bus station reopened at 9am on Wedesday 18 Febraury. The closure of the station did not have any significant impact on services," said TfL.
