Penny Flood finds her sense overloaded by The Believers Are But Brothers at The Bush

His story is about three men run away to join Islamic State  and how they are influenced by social media. The sort of stuff you read in the papers every day, there was nothing new here.

As this went on and Alipoor leapt from his chair to the microphone all sorts of video images, including 9/11 and Donald Trump,  played on the big screen.  The net result was an over load of the senses as  his monologue became a rant  - confusing to the point of irrelevancy

The audience were invited to become part of this by joining a Whatsapp group, which could have been interesting but when the audience got going  there were a lot of sexist obscenities while one poster wondered where his friend was as the show was about to start.  There were also a few emoticons.

Eventually, after more leaps between the microphone his chair, while images on the screens got more violent, Alipoor posted a few sentences of mind boggling blandness and invited the audience to read them out loud.  Some did, then somebody (thankfully) read out one that said 'This is the end of the show ' so we could all go home.
