Annie's Turns 10!

Parties, Milestone Menu, Special Cocktails and Party Bags

It’s been 10 years since Lorraine Angliss, the amiable restaurateur opened the doors of her first restaurant, Annie’s in Chiswick, and to mark this landmark anniversary, it will be celebrating with a week of festivities.

10th Birthday Party: 19th September

No birthday is complete without a party. To be in with a chance to join Lorraine and her team to help blow out the candles at a stylish evening of sparkling cocktails and delicious canapés, sign up to Twitter.com/annieschiswick now where a number of lucky winners (plus guests) will be selected for this truly unforgettable soirée.

Milestone Menu: 20th – 26th September

To mark 10 years of serving a generous menu with British and Mediterranean classics loved by everyone, Annie’s Chiswick will feature their most popular dishes, as chosen by their customers, on a special £10 milestone menu. Monday to Friday lunch, enjoy a main course with either a glass of wine, beer or soft drink. Expect to see the simple loveliness of beer battered haddock and chips served with tartare sauce and peas alongside the Scotch steak burger with cheese and bacon to grilled halloumi salad with roast squash, fig and caramelised shallots.

Birthday Blush Royale: 20th – 26th September

Commemorating the celebration with Annie’s signature cocktail, the Blush Royale, a stunning blend of Champagne, rose syrup and crystallised rose petals – fitting as Lorraine’s favourite flower – it is the perfect concoction to celebrate a decade with decadence in mind. The Blush Royale will be served throughout the week, at the special birthday price of £5.00. Bottoms up!

Golden Ticket Gifts of Gratitude: 20th – 26th September

Each pre-booked party dining at Annie’s Chiswick throughout the birthday week will be given a glittering golden ticket at the end of their meal. Each ticket contains a treat; from bottles of Champagne and wine to meals for two or brunch on the house.

When asked about Annie’s turning 10, Lorraine states that she owes a lot to her loyal customers “people have the right to have high expectations of a local restaurant, I’m just so incredibly grateful that they have allowed me to be here this long”.

Born out of frustration that no one could make a go of the site at the end of her street, Lorraine, who cut her teeth at Coconut Grove and Sticky Fingers with Bill Wyman, wanted somewhere with a home-from-home neighbourhood feel that had a brasserie-style menu bursting with seasonal British comfort dishes available from breakfast through to supper - and so did the people of Chiswick it would seem - and the rest, they say, is history.

Happy Birthday Annie’s – here’s to another decade of good living!
