Fighting For A Good Cause, Again!

White-collar boxing event at the Park Club in aid of Russell Dawkins

For the second year running, the Park Club will hold a charity boxing event in aid of Russell Dawkins.

Last year, the event raised over £27,500 for the Russell Dawkins Back on Track charity. The remarkable cause aims to raise awareness and money to provide equipment for individuals, like Russ, with spinal injuries.

From 6.30pm on Saturday 14th of March you are invited to attend the event where sixteen Park Club & Hogarth members and staff will slug it out.

All of them are novices in the pugilistic arts, all of them will face three 2 minute rounds, where in the words of one celebrated practitioner, you can run but you cannot hide. Make no mistake, this is a proper boxing contest. They have undergone three months gruelling preparation under Boxing Coaches Lee Denton and Ali Ahmed.

Last year Orchards of London Managing Director, Paul Connolly took part but was beaten in the third round. This year, Liam Doherty, looks forward to bringing home the winning title as he takes on his opponent David Fellows.

Tickets are available now at £30 +booking fee and can be purchased via Eventbrite. All the proceeds go towards The Back on Track Charity. For more information on the event, or purchase your tickets online
