Hammersmith's eighth annual Summer Festival continues through July in Lyric Square.

Picnic in the Square returns this week by popular demand. Local people can unwind during their lunchtimes by soaking up the sun on rolled out turf and or enjoying an outdoor snack at 20 foot long picnic tables from 13-15 July and 20- 22 July, between noon and 3pm.

Yoga in the Square is also back on Wednesday 15 July between 12pm-1pm. Open to all - yoga novices and expert yogis alike. Make the most of your lunchtime by enjoying these free sessions in the open air with Lumi Power Yoga

Throughout the festival you can also get active and learn about the local area by taking part in free Guided Walks. On Saturday, August 1, walkers can uncover the history of Olympia.

Saturday 1st August: Exhibiting through the Centuries

Millions visit Olympia each year. But as they walk around checking out everything from chocolate bars to priceless antiques, how many remember that this was where Empress Josephine once bought her roses? And where 100 years ago the Prince of Wales entertained his lady friends?

Meet outside Olympia tube (on Olympia Way), 11am.
