Less Than A Week to Register

Register to vote in local and European elections

There is just one week left for voters to make sure they are registered to vote in next month’s elections.

Local and European elections are taking place on 22 May, and residents have until 6 May to make sure they are registered to vote.

Polling cards have been sent out to everyone eligible to vote in the elections. Although you do not need one to vote, if you haven’t received one and think you may not be on the register, you should contact the electoral registration team on elections@hounslow.gov.uk or 020 8583 2828 before 6 May.

Application forms to register to vote can be downloaded from www.aboutmyvote.co.uk and must be received by the elections team by Tuesday, 6 May in order to be processed in time for the elections.

Residents who want to vote by post, or change their postal voting, have a week left to make the arrangements in time for the local and European elections.

Anyone can vote by post, and setting up a postal vote is simple and quick to do. You can download an application form from www.aboutmyvote.co.uk and forms must be received by the elections team by 5pm on Wednesday, 7 May in order to be processed in time for the elections.
