Receive awards for excellent customer service in Feltham
Hounslow residents have voted street cleaners and refuse collectors in Feltham as the winners of the Council’s Excellent Customer Service Awards.
Rosario Ciccerelli and John Tomlinson from Hounslow Highways, and Boses Rutakirwa from waste and recycling company SITA UK, represented teams which cover Craven Avenue in Feltham.
Councillor Jagdish Sharma, leader of Hounslow Council, said: “This is a special award as those who won it were nominated by our residents, who have appreciated the great customer service provided by our front line workers.
“Receiving praise from the public goes a long way in motivating our staff so it’s very welcome.”
Other workers who were commended were Teresa Brand, a receptionist at Heston Pool, Shahzad Sheikh, a Customer Services Officer with Liberata – who administer the council’s housing benefit support service - and Jamie Smith, who works for the waste and recycling department.
Hutoxi Davis, who is a Locality Family Support Practitioner, was Highly Commended.
