Hammersmith and Fulham Council, along with Kensington and Chelsea and Westminster councils, has produced this year's Summer in the City event guide for young people aged 0-19, listing events taking place across the three boroughs.

Detailing hundreds of groups, clubs, events and activities happening in July and August, the guide has been sent to all pupils in the three boroughs - around 60,000 youngsters - and it can also be downloaded at the council website.

Activities include summer festivals, mini Olympics, storytelling, kayaking, football coaching, fashion design and zumba, carnival club, candle making and bike graffiti. They are open to children aged 0-19, and young disabled people up to 25.

Cllr Helen Binmore, H&F cabinet member for children’s services, said: “For the second year running the annual Summer in the City guide is tri-borough, which means you can access activities not only in your local area, but also across the border into K&C and Westminster.

“There are hundreds of events taking place across west London, and we have focused on finding and creating free and low-cost activities for all ages, interests and abilities. We hope that this summer’s programme will be just as successful as last year, and that more young people come and join in the fun!”
