Visitors Welcome this Weekend for Open House London 2019

Your chance to gain free entry to our borough's most fascinating buildings

The annual Open House London weekend sees the doors of a record number of local buildings with historic or architectural interest open to visitors on Saturday 21 and Sunday 22 September.

They include some of best known and best loved places including St Augustine's Church, LAMDA, William Morris Society and Emery Walker's House in Hammersmith, Fulham's Hurlingham Club and Fulham Palace and the Bush Theatre and the Erno Goldinger designed Greenside Primary School in Shepherd's Bush.

There are also smaller architectural gems such as the Tin House, pictured below, on Devonport Road W12, the Round House on Blythe Road and a new family home on Oaklands Grove.

More unusual buildings include Jonathan Tuckey Design Studio on Milson Road, W14, created on the site of a derelict pub and The Chapel of St Francis, described as the finest prison chapel in England. To visit the chapel in Wormwood Scrubs Prison on Saturday 21 September, you must book in advance here.

Larger scale tours include The Westworks on Wood Lane, resident led tours of West Kensington and Gibbs Green Estates and ArtWest Open Studios and six other local buildings around Hythe Road in the north of Shepherd's Bush.

Ola Oak and Park Royal Development Corporation is also taking part in Open House London, with activities, walking tours and places to visit throughout the weekend. Find out more about what's on here.
