Meet some top local employers on Thursday July 9
Hammersmith & Fulham Council and Job Centre Plus are hosting a jobs and training fair on Thursday July 9.
The fair takes place in the Assembly Hall at Hammersmith Town Hall, King Street from 10am until 3pm and is free to attend.
The fair will offer loads of training opportunities, apprenticeship advice and career guidance from 45 exhibitors including well-known brands such as British Gas, Crossrail, Capita, Kidzania and Chelsea Football Club.
Hammersmith and Fulham Cabinet Member for Social Inclusion, Cllr Sue Fennimore, says: " "This is a great chance for anyone who is looking for a new job, or even looking for their first job, to meet prospective employers and find out about what they look for in employees.
" Whether you’re a school-leaver, graduate or just generally job-seeking, it is an invaluable opportunity to get work experience, or training opportunities with some of the biggest employers in the area.
" We are committed to helping as many residents as possible find employment in the borough, and hosting an event like this is a vital part of that."
Visitors to the event will be able to meet a wide range of employers within the retail, leisure, catering, hospitality, maintenance, recruitment, healthcare, media and construction industries and also find out about training opportunities to help secure employment.
