St George, the develope of the Fulham riverside development

is hosting the fourth annual Jobs and Careers Fair this Thursday January 27, to highlight the range of employment and training opportunities available throughout Hammersmith and Fulham.

In partnership with Hammersmith and Fulham Council, the Jobs and Careers Fair is a free event which will run from 2pm – 8pm.

Visitors to the Jobs and Careers Fair 2011 will be able to meet a range of organisations offering employment opportunities and job seeker advice. There will be plenty of information available through a variety of agencies including the Work Zone the Council's Westfield London based recruitment facility where visitors will be able to obtain careers advice, gain support and assistance, access pre-employment training geared towards securing employment in the borough, visit a CV Clinic, organise work placements, and financial management and debt advice for those wishing to return to employment.

The fair provides will be officially opened by Councillor Nicholas Botterill, Deputy Leader and Cabinet Member for Environment and Asset Management for the London Borough of Hammersmith and Fulham.

Ross Faragher, MD of St George Central London says: " This valuable event will raise awareness of the wide range of training and employment opportunities within the retail, leisure and construction industries, including the nearby Westfield London Shopping Centre, which is only nine minutes away by train."

The event is an excellent way for job seekers to meet prospective employers, find out about the latest vacancies locally and talk to the experts about the help and support that is available. "

The event is to be held at The Wharf Rooms, Imperial Wharf, Imperial Road, London SW6 2PY, next to London Overground's Imperial Wharf Station, which is within ten minutes' journey from other local stations West Brompton, Olympia and Shepherd's Bush.
