With packed progamme of events taking place throughout the week
Hammersmith and Fulham's own arts festival, HF ArtsFest is back for a second year from today, June 8.
And it is kicking off in style with events - including exhibitions, art sessions, tours, stories and music - at the Hepsibah Gallery in Brackenbury Road, Blythe House in Olympia, the Masbro and Gate Centres, the POSK Cultural Centre in King Street, Hammersmith Town Hall and our local libraries.
You can see the full daily programme of events, including the visual arts, literature, music, the performing arts and film on the HF ArtsFest website.
Showcasing over 70 new events and 200 performers appearing across the borough, the ArtsFest is celebrating one of the smallest - and one of the most dynamic - of London boroughs.
There are big name artists and organisations; Comedians Phil Nichol & Shazia Mirzia, Singer Songwriter Purdy, The V&A archives @ Blythe House, the Lyric , the Bush Theatre and LAMDA to mention a few.
There are community arts: Albert & Friends Instant Circus, Ravenscourt Art, Hepsibah Gallery, Author SJI Halliday, The Bhavan Centre, Hepsibah Gallery, Ravenscourt Art, Atrium Forum, Scariofunk Collective, Masbro Centre, Irish Cultural Centre, and more!]
HF Artsfest will include everything from film to dance, from literary events to walks, from art to theatre; from hundreds of tiny venues to the borough's premier theatres, from independent shops and galleries to our major shopping centre Westfield.
Chaired by Cathy Robertson, backed by a passionate group of volunteers and key sponsors St. George, Hammersmith & Fulham Council and Westfield, HF ArtsFest 2015 is a triumph of what happens when a community proudly steps up to its potential and decides to put on a great show of its talent.
