Pedestrian "critical" after being hit by police car at Rockley Road junction
Police are continuing to appeal for witnesses after a marked police car hit a male pedestrian aged 51 in Shepherd's Bush on Thursday April 10.
The accident occurred on Thursday, 10 April at 11.16am on Shepherd's Bush Green at the junction with Rockley Road.
The police car was using its sirens and blue lights to respond to an emergency call.
The man was taken by London Ambulance Service to a central London hospital where he remains in a critical condition.
Police say their enquires are continuing and, as is procedure in such cases, the Independent Police Complaints Commission have been informed.
The Met’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is currently leading the investigation in consultation with the Directorate of Professional Standards.
