Hammersmith Community Gardens Association is hosting its monthly introduction session for people interested in becoming volunteers on Wednesday 6 November at Phoenix School Farm, from 10am till 11.30am.

This will be an opportunity to find out more about the association's volunteering projects, how you can get involved, as well as an opportunity to visit its sites. It will be an informal session with the chance to meet current and new volunteers.

Events in November also include a monthly volunteer gardening day at Loris Gardens on 3 November and a Pub Quis, raising funds for the HCGA at The Thatched House in Dalling Road on 6 November.

There is no need to book for gardening sessions, just turn up, stay for an hour or stay for the whole session.
